Is hard to keep working the wine-yard, and more harder is to find people to help. So, all the work fell on the shoulders of "Grandpa from Turnu", as Thea caresses my father, "Grandma from Turnu" and of course Mamaia, who, no matter how old she is, still digs her back and help as much as she can :). They did an excellent job and how good it looks will be a good year.
But it's so beautiful when you look at the vineyard after you arrange it, that I feel like going more often and even helping ... And I hope that from next year I will be able to be in the vineyard preparation periods there ... Especially since I might have my vineyard next year: P, planted with Babeasca Neagra ... Well, what did you think I forgot about the dream of making Costica the Noble? :)
This year, Costica the Wise will reach the perfection of an artisanal wine ... In addition to what we already do well, we will peel to keep only the beans with their "good" tannin and we will have inscribed corks ... and with that, both glass as well as the taste will be as I imagined 5 years ago ... now the amount remains to increase it so as not to let the vineyards and traditions of the area perish ...
From next year, the focus will be on Costica the Soft and the Noble ... Well, let's perfect them too, right? :).
But let's see what the harvest will be like this year, which I can't wait for now in September ...
